How it works
BuilderApp follows a practical three-step flow:
- Post or browse the job. Homeowners describe the work and scope; builders and trades browse jobs that match their category and location.
- Build the estimate. The material and labour estimate builder breaks the job into line items — materials, quantities, labour hours, and margin — so the quote is accurate, not guessed.
- Send and win the quote. Export a clean, itemised quote the homeowner can compare and approve, with the trade’s licence and reviews attached for trust.
The estimate builder does the heavy lifting on the numbers, but the tradie stays in control of pricing and scope.
Why it is different
Most quoting tools are built for one trade or one region and bolted onto a general marketplace afterwards. BuilderApp was built the other way round — the estimate and quote builder sits at the centre, and the marketplace is built around getting that quote in front of the right homeowner fast.
